Hasbro McDonald's toys 2021 are in happy meals in the US during January and February 2021. There are 8 toys to collect in the Hasbro Gaming happy meal designed as mini versions of classic board games including Monopoly, Operation and Connect 4.

The Hasbro McDonald's Toys 2021 include 8 playable mini games each contained inside quirky looking plastic containers. The games stand about 3 or 4 inches (8-10cms) tall so a lot is packaged in a small space. Toys are free-standing on legs attached to the body.

To get even more fun McDonald's are offering over the course of the promotion playable Hasbro Games online through the app.

The full set of the Hasbro McDonald's toys 2021 includes:

1. Hungry Hungry Hippos
   Arms rotate. Pull lever back to activate Hippo to eat marbles.
2. Monopoly
   Arms move. Open to reveal the game board, instructions and playing pieces.
3. Operation
   Move pieces into place using the attached red magnetic wand.
4. Connect 4
   Comes with red and yellow counters to play the game that are housed inside the toy. Pull on the feet to open. Slot matrix is on the back. In case the pieces get stuck also comes with a wand to loosen them.
5. Trouble
   Popping dice in the back of the toy. Comes with game board and push out counters inside.
6. The Game of Life
   
7. Twister
   Finger twister game. Twister board is inside the game. Spinner is on the back of the toy.
8. Battleship
   Opens both sides. Comes with Battleship labelled pencil and cards to mark off positions tested.

The Hasbro Happy Meal Toys 2021 were distributed in a blue box featuring the Connect 4 on the front. Hasbro toys were issued in clear bags highlighted in blue and numered 1 to 8.

Hasbro Games McDonalds Coloring Pages and Activity Sheets Downloads

McDonald's have both a free activity sheet and a coloring page to download for this promotion. The coloring page features all the toys to color while the activity page has a wordfind and a Connect 4 puzzle.

McDonalds Hasbro Gaming Happy Meal - International Distribution

The McDonald's Hasbro Gaming happy meal is available globally with the same toys on offer around the world. You can pick these up in Canada, Mexico, The Caribbean, Latin America, Asia, and Australia.

As an alternative to the Hasbro toys McDonalds Canada had a simultaneous promotion of the following books: Treetop Twins, Lester's Dreadful Sweaters by K G Campbell and a Move It happy meal reader.

Soul Happy Meal Toys at McDonalds in 2020-2021

The promotion for Soul happy meal toys straddled 2020 and 2021 having been issued just prior to Christmas 2020. McDonalds in association with Pixar released six plush toys inspired by the characters from the Disney Pixar Soul movie that began streaming on Disney Plus on December 25, 2020.

Soul Happy Meal Toys Details

There is no particular gimmick with the Soul happy meal toys that were available at participating McDonalds restaurants between 15 December and January 11 2021, instead their fun factor is based on cuteness, sparkles and reversibility. Most are made from a soft plush microfiber material that sparkles on one side if not both.

Each toy in the set comes with a tush tag bearing the name of the character. Some of the toys are reversible showing different versions of the character (living form vs soul form) when turned over. Some like Newb, 22 and Terry have a belt clip (colors varied) allowing them to be attached to backpacks, prams, belts and so on.

The toys were released in the following order:

1. Newb
   Purple, pink or green clip.


2. Mr Mittens
   Double sided. Brown on one side and colored on the other.


3. 22
   Sparkly plush, orange or purple clip, rainbow colors on the back.


4. Joe Gardner
   Double sided. Brown, wearing dark glasses on the front versus blue on back and wearing white glasses.
   
   Note this is the same toy that was included in the 2020 McDonalds Disney and Pixar 25 Years Celebration set.


5. Terry
   Blue clip, sparkles on the front versus blue, pinky purple on the back


6. Moonwind Stardancer
   Moustache. Brown on front and blue sparkles on back.

McDonalds Soul Happy Meal Box and Packaging

McDonalds Soul toys were released in clear plastic bags numbered 1 through 6. The Disney Pixar Soul McDonalds happy meal box is black and purple and features notable characters from the movie and their respective dreams: "Joe's dream is to become a jazz musician" and "22 is searching to find her dream". On the side panel is a personal dream card punchout on which to write down a dream and attach it to a backpack.

McDonalds Soul Coloring Page and Activity Sheets

Along with this promotion are two activity sheets free to download in PDF from the McDonalds website. The first is a Soul themed coloring page featuring Joe Gardner playing the piano while the second is a puzzle page with hidden words featuring 22. There is also a place to record your dream to help 22 find hers.

McDonalds Soul Toys International Promotion

Among the other regions apart from the US to receive the six Soul toys were Mexico and Latin America. These were available in happy meals (mclanche feliz) in Brazil (Uma aventura dos sonhos) and in Spanish speaking countries like Argentina and Peru in cajita feliz in January 2021. The slogan on the advertising banner in Argentina is "Vivi tus sueños" or live your dreams.

Soul McDonald's toys follows the Marvel Studios Heroes and the Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway promotions. During the giveaway period one toy came in each happy meal or could be purchased separately at a cost of $1.60 per toy. If you want to add these to your Soul Happy Meal toys to your happy meal toy collection and you missed the in-store promotion these can still be purchased on eBay relatively cheaply.

Marvel McDonald's toys 2020 are the happy meal toys on promotion in the USA for October and November 2020. The Marvel happy meal toys are also to be distributed in the Caribbean and Latin America. If you enjoy Marvel movies it is worth checking out these Marvel McDonald 2020 action figures from the Avengers series.

Marvel McDonald's Toys 2020

The Marvel McDonald's toys 2020 will be available from October 7 until November 9, 2020 nationwide. The full set includes 9 plastic McDonalds happy meal figures that stand on a fixed purple base marked at the front with A for Avengers. Each toy has a different gimmick but all involve pushing a button to activate some kind of arm or wing movement.

Falcon's Wings Move Up and Down

Like the McDonalds Avengers toys 2019 these McDonalds Avengers Toys 2020 can also be linked together via a moulded groove on the side. When connected up the toys form a length-wise train that looks good on display. You could even join them with the Avengers Endgame 2019 toys as they are compatible.

The Marvel McDonald's toys 2020 were released in numbered bags in the following order. Here are the names and some more details about how each toy works:

1. Falcon
   Red and black goggles. Grey-green uniform. Dark-skinned. Wings move up and down when button on the back of his head is pressed.


2. Winter Soldier
   Grey outfit. Light-skinned. Left arm (cybernetic titanium) moves up and down by pressing button on his back.


3. Vision
   Pinky-purple face and body. Yellow cape. Steel blue outfit. Push button on his back to activate arms that move up and down together.


4. Scarlet Witch
   Long red hair. Black pants and red coat. Arms move up and down in alternating action.


5. Potted Groot
   Stands in a pot on top of the purple base. Both head and arms move side-to-side when button on the back of the toy pushed.


6. Gladiator Hulk
   Wears gray-green helmet. Green body. Carries a Sakaaran battle axe and war hammer. Choppin action in both arms is activated by button on the back.


7. The Wasp
   Gray helmet with yellow eyes. Steel blue outfit. Character has wings and a wasp face on torso. Push button on back of his head to activate side-to-side wing action.


8. Hulkbuster (Iron Man)
   Iron Man wearing hulkbuster suit armor of red and gold. Arms move up and down in unison when button on the back depressed.


9. Black Widow
   Short red hair. Green eyes. White outfit. Carries batons weapons which spin around 360 degrees when the button on the back of the head is pushed.

McDonalds Marvel Happy Meal Toys Box and Packaging

A large picture of Black Widow appears on the McDonalds Avengers toys 2020 happy meal box. One side panel shows all 9 of the toys in the collection numbered and named with the caption "Go Get Your Power: Can You Guess Each Hero's Ability?". The Marvel McDonalds figures are distributed in clear bags with red highlighting.
