McDonalds Luca Toys 2021 were the happy meal toy promotion at McDonalds restaurants in USA from June 8 to July 5, 2021. The Luca McDonalds toys are part of a movie tie-in deal with Pixar for the popular animated movie Luca which is set on the Italian Riviera. There are 8 different character inspired Luca McDonalds toys to collect in this set.

As you would expect the Luca McDonalds toys have a swimming and water theme in keeping with the movie. Luca is a young sea monster who can assume human form when he steps out of the water. He and his friend Alberto experience all the wonders that that being on dry land can offer like gelato, summer sun and scooter rides on a Vespa but the fear of being discovered as a sea monster is always looming.

The 8 toys in the McDonalds Luca happy meal toy collection are plastic. One of the unique things about this set is the ability of some of the Luca McDonalds toys to change color when immersed in water. #3 Alberto Scorfano and #7 Luca Paguro are the two Luca toys that can change color.

1. 1. Luca Paguro - Sea Monster toy. Blue hair. Green body. Green bathing trunks. Head moves side-to-side. Wind up blue tail rotates in water and Luca swims.


2. 2. Monalisa - Green Fish. Water gun squirter toy filled by pulling back dark green tail.


3. 3. Alberto Scorfano (Color Change) - Skin changes to purple color when immersed in cold water. Brown hair with purple hair accessory. Brown shorts and yellow tank.


4. 4. Giulia Marcovaldo - Wind up toy. Swims in water. Arms rotate 360 degrees. Red hair. Blue swimming costume. Green flippers. White helmet.


5. 5. Alberto Scorfano Swimming - Sea monster toy that swims. Dark purple hair and lighter purple skin color. Brown shorts, yellow tank top. Purple tail is a wind up that propels Alberto forward when placed in water. Arms rotate 360 degrees.

During June and July 2021 Brazil had the same 8 Disney Luca happy meal toys (os brinquedos de Luca / McLanche Feliz) as the US although the order of release and numbering of the toys is different.
