Pokemon Happy Meal 2021 25th Anniversary TCG Cards at McDonalds

The Pokemon happy meal 2021 promotion containing 25 different Pokemon TCG cards to collect will run from February 9 to March 8 2021 at participating McDonalds restaurants in USA. This same set will also be promoted in Canada (April), the United Kingdom (May), Australia and New Zealand (September). The McDonald's Pokemon cards 2021 promotion celebrates the 25th Anniversary of Pokemon with a Special Edition McDonald’s booster packs of Pokémon Trading Card Game cards.

Pokemon Happy Meal 2021

The Pokemon happy meal 2021 has 25 cards distributed in booster packs each containing four exclusive McDonalds Pokemon cards. 24 of the cards come from the many regions of the Pokémon world while the 25th features Pikachu.

There are 50 cards to collect in all as each card comes in two versions: standard and foil with foil cards or holographic cards as they are also known as being the more valuable of the two.

The booster packs come inside 8 different activity sleeves. Each McDonalds Pokemon 25th anniversary sleeve features different pictures of Pikachu on the front and sports the Pokemon 25th anniversary logo in the top left-hand corner.

Inside each pack are four booster cards: 3 standard cards and one holo card. The cards are easily recognized by the Pokémon 25th logo in the bottom right hand corner of the Pokemon character pictured on the card.

McDonald's Pokemon Cards 2021 - Activity Sleeves

The Pokemon activity sleeves are numbered 1 through 4 in the US set. Each sleeve, depending on the number of the pack, contains the booster pack of four cards plus a variety of accessories including a Pokemon deck box, a mini picture frame and Pokemon sticker sheets.

Contents of Activity Packs

• Pack 1. Deck box (white and red sleeve)
• Pack 2. Small Stickers x 2 sheets and Landscape Card (black sleeve and blue sleeve)
• Pack 3. Large stickers x 1 sheet (red sleeve and red and white sleeve)
• Pack 4. Frame insert (green sleeve)

Large Sticker Sheets

There are 8 large sticker sheets, each sheet representing a different generation of Pokemon. Each lot of stickers comes in a sheet of four making 32 stickers altogether to collect. Pikachu is featured on each sheet along with three other characters. All characters are named underneath.

• One of each of Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Pikachu
  (Red, Green, Blue, FireRed, and LeafGreen, Generation 1)

Deck Box

The deck box is made of cardboard and is useful as a container for the Pokemon cards especially as it has a lid. The deck box comes in a couple of the activity sleeves.

Small Sticker Sheets

There are four different small sticker sheets to collect. Each sticker sheet has 13 characters to a sheet. Pikachu is on every sheet. The small sticker sheets come with a double-sided landscape card for placing the stickers.

Photo Frame Card Holder

In two activity sleeves there is a photo frame card holder included. A favorite card can be slotted into the holder and used for display purposes.

McDonalds Pokemon Happy Meal Box and Packaging

The 25th Anniversary happy meal box is yellow all over with a large picture of Pikachu on the front. On one side panel are pop-out Pikachu ears that can be added to the front of the happy meal box.

As already mentioned the McDonald's Pokemon cards 2021 are distributed in Pikachu themed sleeves denoted by numbering, different pictures of Pikachu and color-coding.
