McDonalds Little Mermaid Toys Come in Happy Meals for 2023

The promotion of McDonalds Little Mermaid toys began a few days ago in the USA. During May and June 2023 one of eight plastic Little Mermaid happy meal toys based on the new Disney The Little Mermaid movie will come in your happy meal. The film due in theaters on May 26 follows Ariel (Halle Bailey) who trades her voice with Ursula, the sea witch, for the chance to come ashore.

After so many complaints about paper McDonalds toys parents will be relieved to find that this co-promotion between Disney and McDonalds is delivering plastic rather than paper toys in the Little Mermaid happy meal 2023.

The promotion of McDonald's Little Mermaid toys began on May 24, 2023. There are eight figures to collect in the set that features all the best-loved characters from The Little Mermaid movie including Ariel, Prince Eric and Sebastian. The toys have a blue wave theme making them fun to play with and display.

The full set of 8 Little Mermaid happy meal toys 2023 includes:

1. Sebastian
   Push and go toy. Sebastian bobs up and down when pushed along.


2. Ariel
   Slide Ariel toy along to make her spin around on the wave.


3. King Triton
   Push the King Triton toy along on a flat surface and the base turns around mimicing swirling ocean waves.


4. Flounder
   Push and go toy. Flounder's head and body move up and down.


5. Prince Eric
   Prince Eric in his ship moves and down in the waves when his boat is pushed along.


6. Max
   Max rocks side-to-side on the plank of wood he is balancing on when the toy is pushed along.

   Scuttle is standing on a barrel which appears to rotate as it is pushed along. Scuttle character moves side-to-side.

McDonald's Little Mermaid Toys Happy Meal Box and Packaging

The McDonald's Little Mermaid toys come in clear plastic bags that are numbered. Apple slices packs in happy meals have a picture of Ariel on the front. The Little Mermaid happy meal box is sea blue and features Ariel on the front. On the side panel is a picture of how to access interactive Little Mermaid content by scanning the toy on a phone or tablet.

McDonald's is offering a two themed Little Mermaid activity sheets: one is a coloring page of Ariel and the other is a connect-the-dots Flounder. Both these Disney Little Mermaid sheets are free to download in convenient PDF format.

McDonalds Little Mermaid Toys 2023 International Promotion

The McDonalds Little Mermaid toys 2023 are being promoted outside the US too. The Little Mermaid (La Sirenita in Spanish) is to be promoted in #cajitafeliz in Mexico and the rest of Latin America. The same toys will be promoted with a few translation differences to names in Spanish like Rey Triton (King Triton) and Principe Eric (Prince Eric).

In Brazil all 8 of the Little Mermaid McDonalds toys (brinquedos de A Pequena Sereia da Disney) will be available in happy meals (#mclanchefeliz) around the same time. Characters are known as Ariel, Úrsula, Sabidão (Scuttle), Linguado (Flounder), Rei Tritão (King Triton), Sebastião (Sebastian), Max.


McDonalds Little Mermaid toys follows the Guardians of the Galaxy promotion and before that The Masked Singer. All of these toys are great additions to your McDonalds collection and are available for purchase on eBay last I checked.

Burger King Spider Verse Toys Jr Meal 2023

Burger King Spider Verse toys have been on promotion in the USA since May 15 and will continue until June 21, 2023. In this limited promotion window you will receive one of six different Burger King Spiderverse toys with your King JR meal. The offer coincides with the Sony Pictures Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse movie to be released in theaters on June 1, 2023.

Burger King Spider Verse Toys

There are 6 toys to collect in this Burger King Spider Verse set based on Marvel Comics characters. These are paper-based rather than plastic BK toys which is kind of disappointing but fits with Burger King's new initiatives on sustainability.

Irrespective of whether these are recyclable toys or not, chances are you are going to want to have them in your Burger King toys collection especially if you are a die-hard Spider-Man fan or collect Marvel Heroes memorabilia as they are still pretty nice toys. The catch is, in this case, that you are going to need to order a lot of King Jr meals as my understanding is that you can't just buy the toys over the counter these days without purchasing a meal.

The Burger King Spiderverse toys are based on iconic buildings as seen in the Spider-man movie and feature other Spiderverse characters in various poses like hanging off buildings. The toys come in sheets with popouts to construct and sticker sheets to customize. There is also an instruction sheet included in every pack that provides numbered steps to put your Burger King Spider Verse building together..

Included in the Burger King Spider Verse Toys 2023 Across the Spiderverse set are:

• Miles Rooftop BBQ (Miles Morales)
• Downtown Mumbatten (Pavitr Prabhakar / Earth-50101B figure)
• Gwen's Apartment Building (Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy figures)

Burger King is going all out during this promotion by offering Spider-man themed food as well including Spider-Verse Whopper (red burger) and a Spider-Verse BK Sundae. In addition they have been transforming restaurants around the world in keeping with the Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse theme including New York City (Astoria, Queens), France, United Arab Emirates and Brazil among others.



Burger King Spider Verse toys 2023 will be available in other countries as well as the US. For instance in Brazil these BK toys are known as Homem-Aranha Atraves do Aranhaverso and the promotion begins on May 17. While in Mexico and other Latin American countries the toys (juguetes) are called Spiderman A Través del Spider-Verso and Kids Jr Meal is named Comida Infantil. Other locations where these will be available include some parts of Europe and Indonesia.

If you miss the promotion of these Burger King Spiderverse toys or would prefer a healthier option than chomping down a whole bunch of burgers you can buy a full set of Across the Spider-Verse toys online on eBay but be quick as supplies may be limited.
