Burger King Planet Patrol toys were distributed in a set of 5 in King Jr meals in 1997 in the US. The five plastic action figures were available for a limited time during April 1997 in this BK Kid's Club promotion.
Burger King Planet Patrol Toys
The Burger King Planet Patrol Toys are based on some of the characters that Burger King used in the 1990's to advertise the Kids Club. Missing from this collection are Lingo and Snaps, characters that are often featured in BK Kid's Club toy sets.The names of the Burger King Planet Patrol toys are as follows:
- I.Q.'s Planet Pacer - wears glasses, has fuzzy red hair. Seated in a yellow spacecraft.
Wind up toy.- J.D.'s Shuttle Launch - dog flying in a white spaceship.
Window glow in the dark. Push button to launch.- Kid Vid's Glo Chopper - wears a blue spacesuit and blue visor. Has chopper blades attached to his head.
Visor and propeller glow in the dark.- Space Commander Jaws - wearing a wine-colored spacesuit.
Dark details of spacesuit glow in the dark. Pull back toy rolls along.- Boomer's Lightspeed Spacetop - red-headed character with pony tail in green spinning top.
Space top lights up. Twirl head for spinning action.
The Planet Patrol Burger King toys were offered around the world. Distribution has been confirmed in these countries so far: USA, Mexico, UK, New Zealand.
Burger King Planet Patrol toys was followed by Burger King Land Before Time toys in 1997. These sets are occasionally available on eBay and Etsy for purchase if you would like to complete your set or start collecting vintage burger king toys.
