McDonalds Disney Pixar Cars on the Road Toys 2022 are the current happy meal toy premium at McDonalds in the USA for the months of September and October 2022. This collection has 8 different Cars on the Road vehicles to collect based on the characters from the new TV series of the same name which has just launched on Disney Plus.

There are 8 plastic McDonalds Cars on the Road toys to collect in this happy meal set. The cars are well finished and display nicely.

All have a similar gimmick of taking off fast when pulled back. Each comes with a sticker set to customize the car. There are 3 different versions of Lightning McQueen and Mater plus an Ivy and a Ramirez toy in the collection.

The McDonalds Cars on the Road 2022 set includes the following happy meal toys:

1. Road Trip Lightning McQueen - Red. Number 85 on side of car with lightning bolt. Pull back and let go. Car shoots forwards and turns.


2. Cruz Ramirez - Yellow car. Number 51.


3. Rumbler Mater - Burnt orange tow truck. Winch on the back rotates.


4. Rumbler Lightning McQueen - Red racing car. Fish-fin on roof.


5. Road Trip Mater - Browny-orange tow truck. Green sticker "Tow Mater" on door.


6. Ivy - Blue and yellow monster truck with giant wheels. Orange fire design sticker for side panels.


7. Cave Ligntning McQueen - Red car. Carrying a load in the trunk.


8. Cave Mater - Brown version of Mater. Winch in the back does not move.

McDonalds Cars on the Road Happy Meal Box and Packaging

The happy meal toys come in clear plastic bags numbered 1 through 8. The limited time promotion also had themed apple slices packaging featuring Lightning McQueen and Ivy on the front. The happy meal box features Ligntning McQueen and Mater on the front. One side panel has the code to scan with a tablet or mobile phone to play the game on the app while the other panel has instructions on how to play. There is a picture of all the cars toys to collect on the happy meal box as well.

McDonalds Disney Pixar Cars Coloring and Activity Sheets

McDonalds had a couple of different activity sheets available during the limited promotion that could be downloaded from the website which included a maze activity and a color Mater page. The same eight toys were promoted by McDonalds in parts of Central America and South America in happy meals (cajita feliz) under the title Disney Pixar Cars Aventuras en el Camino. Lightning McQueen is called Rayo McQueen in Spanish. The set was also available in happy meals (mclanche feliz) in Brazil in the Carros na Estrada Disney promotion.

Sonic McDonalds Toys 2022 in Happy Meals

Sonic McDonalds Toys 2022 were the happy meal toy premium during April and May 2022 at McDonalds restaurants in the US and in other countries around the world at the same time. There are 8 cool McDonald's Sonic toys to collect to make up this happy meal set. The Sonic 2 toys were released just in time for the Sonic The Hedgehog 2 movie from Sega showing in theaters across the country from April 8.

How Many Toys Does McDonalds Sonic Have?

There are 8 plastic McDonalds Sonic happy meal toys in the US set which includes 2 Sonics, 2 Tails, 2 Knuckles, the Giant Eggman Robot (Death Eggman) and a Surprise toy (Super Sonic). Some countries like Canada and Australia got a larger Sonic happy meal set of 10 toys with the addition of Tails on a yellow board and Knuckles on a blue board. In much of Europe the plastic Sonic 2 toys were substituted for a set of 10 cardboard Sonic maze toys.

McDonalds Sonic Toys Happy Meal Box

The McDonalds Sonic 2 toys had a themed cardboard happy meal box for the promotion. Sonic is featured on the front amongst bolts of lightning. Tails appears on one side alongside the slogan "Gotta Go Fast! with Tasty Apple Slices". Knuckles is on the other side while lightning swirls around him. The back is plain red with a heart reminder from McDonalds that one penny from every happy meal sold is donated to RMHC.

Sonic McDonalds Toys 2022 Happy Meal Set

The plastic Sonic McDonalds toys 2022 are push and go toys. They feature Sonic and friends riding on various boards, lightning and clouds. Some of the toys come with stickers to apply to the character's feet.

The 8th toy is a Suprise Toy or Mystery Toy that was not immediately available for purchase. It turned out to be a special yellow version of Sonic known as Super Sonic.
