Sonic McDonalds Toys 2022 in Happy Meals

Sonic McDonalds Toys 2022 were the happy meal toy premium during April and May 2022 at McDonalds restaurants in the US and in other countries around the world at the same time. There are 8 cool McDonald's Sonic toys to collect to make up this happy meal set. The Sonic 2 toys were released just in time for the Sonic The Hedgehog 2 movie from Sega showing in theaters across the country from April 8.

How Many Toys Does McDonalds Sonic Have?

There are 8 plastic McDonalds Sonic happy meal toys in the US set which includes 2 Sonics, 2 Tails, 2 Knuckles, the Giant Eggman Robot (Death Eggman) and a Surprise toy (Super Sonic). Some countries like Canada and Australia got a larger Sonic happy meal set of 10 toys with the addition of Tails on a yellow board and Knuckles on a blue board. In much of Europe the plastic Sonic 2 toys were substituted for a set of 10 cardboard Sonic maze toys.

The McDonalds Sonic 2 toys had a themed cardboard happy meal box for the promotion. Sonic is featured on the front amongst bolts of lightning. Tails appears on one side alongside the slogan "Gotta Go Fast! with Tasty Apple Slices". Knuckles is on the other side while lightning swirls around him. The back is plain red with a heart reminder from McDonalds that one penny from every happy meal sold is donated to RMHC.

The plastic Sonic McDonalds toys 2022 are push and go toys. They feature Sonic and friends riding on various boards, lightning and clouds. Some of the toys come with stickers to apply to the character's feet.

The 8th toy is a Suprise Toy or Mystery Toy that was not immediately available for purchase. It turned out to be a special yellow version of Sonic known as Super Sonic.
