Oddly this happy meal toy promotion was identical to the Australia and New Zealand Transformers Animated release in May 2008.Also it was the same as other Asian countries like Singapore except they had their release in January 2010. All of these international releases were cut down versions of the US McDonalds Transformers Animated set of 2008 that had 6 action toys and included 2 additional toys Lugnut and Starscream.

A further six toys were released in the Philippines making a total of 13 different Shrek Forever After 3D happy meal toys altogether. This set was identical to the Shrek toys promoted in Malaysia also in May 2010.

McDonalds Megamind toys were available at McDonalds restaurants throughout November in the Philippines. The Megamind set varies from the US release in that Mirror Brainbot, Roxanne Scooter and Fan Bot were substituted for the Voice Distorter Brainbot, Megamind, and Tighten toys. The eight toys to collect in the McDonalds Megamind Philippines set are:

McDonalds Barbie a Mermaid Tale and Hot Wheels Battle Force 5 happy meal toys are the last McDonalds promotion for 2010 in the Philippines.The Philippines and Malaysia promotion of McDonalds Hot Wheels Battle Force 5 toys are identical. The same toys are also included in the Barbie - A Mermaid Tale promotion as the Malaysian release. The McDonalds Barbie a Mermaid Tale release in the US also had two extra toys - Merliah the Mermaid and Seahorse Barrettes which have been left out of the Philippines set.

Here is a schedule of McDonalds Malaysia happy meal toys 2010 Schedule for Malaysia. I have put together this list of McDonalds Malaysia happy meal toys promotions during 2010 as a reference and handy guide.
McDonalds Shrek Forever After 3D, Megamind, Ben 10 Alien Force and the Powerpuff Girls, Hot Wheels Battleforce 5 and Barbie Mermaid Tale are just some of the highlights of the happy meal toys promoted in Malaysia during 2010.
For North American McDonalds collectors you will recognize many of the sets but will notice some variation in number of happy meal toys per set and their configuration.
Some promotions are cut down sets which have a few less characters than their US counterparts. For instance Hot Wheels Battleforce 5 has only 4 toys while the US set had 6 - Sherman Cortez & Buster Tank and Kalus & Fangore Vehicle having been dropped. The McDonalds Malaysian Megamind set has several different bot toys from the US set. One notable omission is the absence of the Megamind character. There are 7 toys in the Malaysian Megamind set compared to the US McDonalds Megamind complement of 8.
Other McDonalds happy meal toy promotions released in Malaysia may be less familiar to US McDonalds collectors. Sets such as the McDonalds Ben 10 Alien Force and the Powerpuff Girls released in Malaysia in September 2010 were not released in the US at all. This set however is identical to the McDonalds Australia and New Zealand Ben 10 Alien Force and the Powerpuff Girls promotion.
The McDonalds McDigital and Beat Star sets were both happy meal toy promotions in Malaysia that never made it to the US. I understand that Beat Star promotion was also released in the Philippines in September 2010.

McDonalds Shrek Forever After Watches 2010
McDonalds Shrek Forever After watches 2010 are being given away with every McDonalds happy meal purchased at McDonalds restaurants throughout the US and Canada from June 11 to June 24, 2010.
There are 4 collectible watches in this set of McDonalds Shrek Forever After watches. Each watch is plastic and features a favorite Shrek character. The characters from the Shrek Forever After movie featured are Shrek, Donkey, Gingy and Puss in Boots.
The McDonalds Shrek watches are fun toys and likely to be a hit with kids who love the Shrek movies. Each watch has a novel way of opening up to reveal the watch face and each makes use of the Shrek character's eyes and ears to set the clock.
The watches are a cool collectible item for Shrek lovers. Be quick as the watches are only available for 2 weeks.
Included in the set of McDonalds Shrek Forever After watches 2010 are the following 4 happy meal toys:
- Shrek
Open Shrek's mouth to see Shrek's eyes move downwards as the clock face is revealed. Push down on his right ear to activate settings mode. Push down on Shrek's left ear to adjust time and date.
- Gingy
Rotate watch face 360 degrees to see Gingy's face change from friendly to fierce. Push Gingy's right eye to activate settings mode. Push in Gingy's left eye to adjust time and date. Handy clip allows watch to be clipped onto bag or belt.
- Donkey
Open Donkey's mouth to reveal the watch dial and see Donkey's eyes move. The watch settings are activated by pushing a button behind Donkey's ear.
- Puss in Boots
Press down on the mouth to open the Puss in Boots watch. Adjust settings with buttons either side of the watch face.

McDonalds Shrek Forever After 3D Toys 2010
McDonalds Shrek Toys 2010 were available at McDonalds in USA and Canada in the Shrek Forever After 3D happy meal toy promotion from May 14 to June 10, 2010. There are 8 Shrek character-themed toys from the Shrek Forever After 3D movie in the McDonalds set. In other parts of the world some of the toys are slightly different and in the Australia and New Zealand promotion there are 10 toys rather than eight.

Each of the plastic toys in the McDonalds Shrek set deliver several funny phrases from the Shrek 3D movie when touched in different ways. Simply slide the button to the on position to hear each McDonalds Shrek toy speak.
