McDonalds Pokemon Toys 2015 Happy Meal USA

If you are a fan of Pokemon, collectible toys and McDonald's toys in particular, you will be pleased to know that McDonalds Pokemon toys 2015 are on promotion in the US for November and December. The Pokemon happy meal set is comprised of eight figures and twelve cards released to coincide with Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages. McDonalds Pokemon Toys 2015 Details

The McDonalds Pokemon toys 2015 are based on Pokemon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages which features the mythical Pokemon Hoopa and several legendary Pokemon. The McDonald toys promotion targets boys. Girls are catered for with the Build a Bear Workshop toys that are being distributed along with the Pokemon toys.

Each McDonald's Pokemon toy in the collection comes with one of 12 Nintendo Pokemon TCG cards featuring Pokemon from the Hoenn region. The toys themselves are a little larger than standard McDonalds toys. They are extremely well finished for McDonalds toys making them a boon for your collection.

2015 Pokemon Toys List

The 8 figures that are available to collect in the McDonalds Pokemon toys 2015 set which is available from November 27 to December 23, 2015 are:

1. Pikachu - yellow toy
   Tail lights up when rolled along on a flat surface.
2. Primal Groudon - red and yellow toy with spikes on the side of his body
   Pull back on the head to see arms move in and out and head moves up and down.
3. Primal Kyogre - blue Pokemon with wings
   Bath toy. Remove tail and insert in water like a syringe. Push in to squirt from the mouth.
4. Lugia - white upright toy with wings and tail. Has a blue belly and blue spikes on the back.
   Articulation in head, tail and feet. Push lever on the back to flap wings.
5. Rayquaza - Green snake body with yellow oval highlights.
   Mouth opens and closes when lever on back pressed. Poseable due to articulation of joints and arms.
6. Mega Latios - White and light purple body. Bird-like creature.
   Comes with yellow beam missile that can be shot from his mouth when button on the back pressed.
7. Hoopa - Mischief Pokemon figure with red hair and yellow hoops on body.
   Hair and arms are articulated. Launches yellow hoop disk from right arm via a spring when toy held down on flat surface and arm pulled back.
8. Wobbuffet - light blue monster Pokemon.
   When lever on back pulled back the toy opens its mouth and salutes.

The 12 Pokemon Happy Meal Cards (TCG cards) released by McDonalds in 2015 are:

1. Treecko - grass
2. Lotad - water
3. Torchic - fire
4. Staryu - water
5. Mudkip - water
6. Pikachu - electric
7. Electrike - electric
8. Rhyhorn - ground-rock
9. Meditite - fighting-psychic
10. Marill - water-fairy
11. Zigzagoon - normal-type
12. Skitty - normal-type

Happy Meal Box

The Happy Meal box for the McDonalds Pokemon toys 2015 features images of different characters from the set including Pikachu on the front and back. The box also had a cut-out Hoopa ring on one side and a trivia quiz on the other side. On the box are instructions on how to use the McPlay Power app to scan the toys to play free games online.

Packaging

The toy packaging for the Pokemon happy meal 2015 is a clear plastic bag with black highlighting that has the Pokemon logo and the name of the toy on it. The TCG cards come in their own plastic sleeve.

International Promotion

Pokemon happy meal toys were also released in Canada. Other countries got TCG cards but in most cases these were not the same as released in North America. For instance two very different sets of cards were released in Europe and the UK. Five out of eight of the toys were released in Brazil in June 2016.
