Elemental McDonalds Toys 2023 Happy Meal Toy Promotion

Elemental McDonalds toys 2023 are the current McDonald toys. During June and July 2023 McDonald's Elemental toys will be included in your happy meal at participating McDonald's restauarants across the US. The eight toys which are based on the new film have come out just in time for the release of the Disney Pixar Elemental movie in theaters on June 22.

It is cool to see that McDonalds are still releasing plastic toys in 2023 and this time around we have happy meal toys inspired by the Elemental movie.

How many Elemental toys are there?

There are 8 Elemental toys to collect each seated on a vehicle based on characters from the Elemental movie. The toys are good for display and the launcher gimmick is fun too.

Do the McDonald's Elemental Toys Do Anything?

Each toy comes with a different colored launcher that is inserted into the back of the toy. Squeezing the launcher will make the toy shoot forward quickly either in the air or on land. There is a wheel on the underside of each toy that helps it glide across a flat surface.

1. Ember on the Wetro (Fire) - (blue vehicle / boat)
   Orange head and body. Comes with gold fire launcher that can be inserted in rear of toy. Squeeze launcher to fire.


2. Wade on the Water Car (Water) - (teal car)
   Insert water accessory into rear of toy and squeeze to launch car. Car shoots out in straight direction.


3. Clod on the Log Trike (Earth) - (brown tree car)
   Also has a green leaf launcher in bag that can be attached to the rear and shoots vehicle straight ahead when squeezed.


4. Bernie on the Tanker Truck (Fire) - (red truck)
   Yellow fire accessory. Shoots launcher in the air or on a flat surface when launcher is inserted at back of truck.


5. Ember on the Scooter (blue scooter)
   Wears black goggles. Orange fire accessory.


6. Lutz on Cyclone Stadium (Air) - (light purple vehicle)
   White clear puff of air accessory. Holding a purple ball.


7. Wade on the Wetro - (blue vehicle with gray base)
   Wearing a yellow shirt. Light blue launcher accessory.


8. Gale on the Blimp - (light purple airship with blue propellor)
   Pink character representing stormy cloud. Pink launcher accessory.

McDonalds Elemental Happy Meal Box and Packaging

The 2023 Elemental McDonald's toys come in clear numbered bags 1 to 8. Apple slices packs included in happy meals have Clod on the front. Wade and Ember feature on the dedicated Elemental happy meal box against a black background.

McDonalds Elemental Coloring Page and Activity Sheets Downloads

There are two coloring and activity pages offered as part of the promotion. The coloring page features Wade and Ember while the activity sheet has a Clod themed maze. Both these Disney Pixar Elemental McDonald's activity sheets are free to download in convenient PDF format.

McDonald' Elemental Toys International Promotion

The same McDonald's Elemental happy meal toys are available in cajita feliz in Mexico, Trinidad and Puerto Rico under the title of Elementos de Disney y Pixar. The following characters are included as known in Spanish (Espanol).

Soul Happy Meal Toys at McDonalds in 2020-2021

The promotion for Soul happy meal toys straddled 2020 and 2021 having been issued just prior to Christmas 2020. McDonalds in association with Pixar released six plush toys inspired by the characters from the Disney Pixar Soul movie that began streaming on Disney Plus on December 25, 2020.

Soul Happy Meal Toys Details

There is no particular gimmick with the Soul happy meal toys that were available at participating McDonalds restaurants between 15 December and January 11 2021, instead their fun factor is based on cuteness, sparkles and reversibility. Most are made from a soft plush microfiber material that sparkles on one side if not both.

Each toy in the set comes with a tush tag bearing the name of the character. Some of the toys are reversible showing different versions of the character (living form vs soul form) when turned over. Some like Newb, 22 and Terry have a belt clip (colors varied) allowing them to be attached to backpacks, prams, belts and so on.

The toys were released in the following order:

1. Newb
   Purple, pink or green clip.


2. Mr Mittens
   Double sided. Brown on one side and colored on the other.


3. 22
   Sparkly plush, orange or purple clip, rainbow colors on the back.


4. Joe Gardner
   Double sided. Brown, wearing dark glasses on the front versus blue on back and wearing white glasses.
   
   Note this is the same toy that was included in the 2020 McDonalds Disney and Pixar 25 Years Celebration set.


5. Terry
   Blue clip, sparkles on the front versus blue, pinky purple on the back


6. Moonwind Stardancer
   Moustache. Brown on front and blue sparkles on back.

McDonalds Soul Happy Meal Box and Packaging

McDonalds Soul toys were released in clear plastic bags numbered 1 through 6. The Disney Pixar Soul McDonalds happy meal box is black and purple and features notable characters from the movie and their respective dreams: "Joe's dream is to become a jazz musician" and "22 is searching to find her dream". On the side panel is a personal dream card punchout on which to write down a dream and attach it to a backpack.

McDonalds Soul Coloring Page and Activity Sheets

Along with this promotion are two activity sheets free to download in PDF from the McDonalds website. The first is a Soul themed coloring page featuring Joe Gardner playing the piano while the second is a puzzle page with hidden words featuring 22. There is also a place to record your dream to help 22 find hers.

McDonalds Soul Toys International Promotion

Among the other regions apart from the US to receive the six Soul toys were Mexico and Latin America. These were available in happy meals (mclanche feliz) in Brazil (Uma aventura dos sonhos) and in Spanish speaking countries like Argentina and Peru in cajita feliz in January 2021. The slogan on the advertising banner in Argentina is "Vivi tus sueños" or live your dreams.

Soul McDonald's toys follows the Marvel Studios Heroes and the Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway promotions. During the giveaway period one toy came in each happy meal or could be purchased separately at a cost of $1.60 per toy. If you want to add these to your Soul Happy Meal toys to your happy meal toy collection and you missed the in-store promotion these can still be purchased on eBay relatively cheaply.
