Night at the Museum 2 McDonalds Toys 2009
Night at the Museum 2 McDonalds happy meal toys are the latest giveaway at McDonalds. 8 collectible toys make up the Night at the Museum set beginning 22 May 2009 including such favorites as Larry, Rexy and Octavius. The McDonalds release of the Happy Meal collection entitled Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian coincides with the release of the Night at the Museum 2 movie and is part of a global partnership between 20th Century Fox and McDonalds.
In some parts of the world extra Night at the Museum toys are being promoted. For example there are 10 toys in the Night at Museum 2 Australia and New Zealand sets with the addition of Napoleon sitting on a horse and Larry on a motorbike.

The toys are made of durable plastic and depict 8 different characters from the movie. Each toy figure comes with its own unique gimmick which is activated with the card that comes with it, much like the tablet in the movie. For instance by placing the card in the slot for the Easter Island toy the sound chip gets activated. Plugging the card into the Larry toy gets him racing around. Pull it out and he stops.

Star Trek Toys at Burger King 2009
New for 2009 at Burger King comes the Star Trek Kids Meal Toy Promotion - a toy tie-in with the latest Star Trek movie. There are 16 toys in this promotion doing justice to the long tradition that is Star Trek. Every week 4 toys will be released over a period of 4 weeks. Each toy has its own sound effect and comes with a small booklet describing the line up of toys included in the promotion.
Burger King Star Trek Toys 2009
The Star Trek set of 16 kids meal toys includes the following toys which are divided into Star Trek Officer in the first group and Ships, Vehicles and Gadgets in the second group. Each Star Trek character's signature phrase from the movie is listed beside the figure.

McDonalds Monsters vs Aliens toys 2009 were launched in happy meals at McDonalds in the USA on 27 March 2009 as a tie-in to the Dreamworks Monsters vs Aliens movie starring Reese Witherspoon as Ginormica, Hugh Laurie as Dr Cockroach Ph.D, Seth Rogen as B.O.B and Rainn Wilson as Gallaxhar. The Monsters vs Aliens McDonalds toys set which is comprised of 8 hard plastic toys was released worldwide.

The 8 Monsters vs Aliens happy meal toys are plastic and stand between 4-6 inches high. They look good on display.The toys making up the McDonalds Monsters vs Aliens happy meal toys set are:
- 1. Ginormica
Her suit is red. Head, arms and waist are articulated. Legs bend are poseable. Feet spin around. She wears green and purple cars as shoes. Gimmick: Push and roll toy.

Large blue head. Long blue legs. Four eyes. Wears a black cape. Right arm articulated. Pull down on his feet and head lights up.
- 3. B.O.B
Blue blob toy. One eye. Wind up his head and he spins in circles.

- 6. Gallaxhar's Ship
Purple spaceship made up of 4 pieces that attach together each containing an alien. Gallaxhar (blue head) sits in the central piece. Press down on his head to see the spaceship shoot apart.
- 7. Robot
Grey one-eyed robot. Lenticular 3D eye moves. Inset arms are poseable. Pull out feet.
- 8. Insectosaurus
Large reddish-orange body with purple arms and beige tummy. Arms and antennas are articulated 360 degrees. Push button on his belly to hear Insectosaurus make a squeaky noise.
