Latest McDonalds Nerf Toys in Happy Meals in 2023

The latest McDonalds happy meal toys, Nerf have just landed at McDonald's in the US replacing the Marvels promotion. For the rest of August and the first half of September 2023 you will find one of 8 Nerf games in your happy meal.

The latest McDonald toy promotion includes eight skill based games from Nerf. The McDonalds happy meal toys challenges include: Disk Blaster, Hoop, Bounce and Score, Loop and Launch, Sink the Disk, Flying Disk, Launch Ramp Challenge, Launch and Catch.

Like them or hate them the Nerf toys offer a bit of a change from happy meal toys we have come to expect from McDonald's in the last few years. Possibly in response to criticisms about McDonald's toys not doing anything it is nice to see toys being issued that can actually be played with.

Each toy in the Nerf set requires some minimal construction which involves putting together a few plastic components and folding cardboard targets.

Some toys in the set come with disks that are inserted into plastic handheld launchers and then shot at targets. Others involve tossing or shooting the ball supplied in the packet into cardboard goals.

Depending on the game played the winner is the one who gets to 100 points first or who wins after five games. An instruction card with game rules is included in the toy packet.

The McDonalds toys come in clear bags numbered according to order of release. The themed happy meal box is yellow and orange and features a hand holding a Nerf ball and the hoop challenge toy.

McDonald's Happy Meal Toy Promotion for 2023 The Marvels

The wait is over as The Marvels, the latest McDonald's happy meal toy promotion has started. For July and August only, a miniature Marvel action figure comes with any happy meal purchased in the US.

There are 8 happy meal toys in the new set based on characters from the upcoming The Marvels movie due for release in theaters on November 10, 2023. The Marvels figurines in the set include: Captain Marvel, Nick Fury, Marvel's Goose, Princess Carol, Ms. Marvel, Prince Yan, Photon, Kree Supremor Dar-Benn.

The new McDonalds toys are plastic and are mounted on a gray base. The base has a hook on the side allowing each toy in the set to be connected up.

The Marvels McDonald's toys are action figures that come with a wheel on the back which activates some moving parts on the toy such as spinning tentacles in the case of Marvel's Goose.

The full set in the McDonald's happy meal includes the following happy meal toys in numbered order:

3. Marvel's Goose
4. Princess Carol
5. Ms. Marvel
6. Prince Yan
7. Photon

There are themed apple slices packaging especially for this promotion featuring Captain Marvel. On the front of the happy meal box are the three main characters Captain Marvel, Photon and Ms Marvel. The new McDonalds toys are distributed in clear bags each numbered to denote the order of release.

Apart from the US, Mexico and the rest of Latin America also has this promotion in happy meals (#cajita feliz). The promotion in Brazil includes the same 8 Marvel's toys distributed in #mclanchefeliz.

What is the Next Happy Meal Toy 2023?

The next happy meal toy in the US has been confirmed as Halloween Boo Buckets (October) followed by Disney 100 Years of Wonder (October/November). These will be released around the middle of October 2023.

Further on the horizon McDonalds are to release Trolls Band Together in November happy meals and then Mattel toys. At this stage it is still unclear whether these will be Barbie and Hot Wheels which have traditionally been a regular happy meal toy over the years.
