Eternals McDonalds Toys 2021 in Happy Meals

Eternals McDonalds Toys 2021 were promoted in happy meals during October and November 2021 at McDonalds restaurants in the USA and in Latin America, the Carribean and South America around the same time. The 10 Marvel McDonald's Eternals toys included in the happy meal toy set are the result of a collaboration between Marvel Studios and McDonalds as a tie-in to the Marvel Eternals movie which began screening in theaters on 5 November 2021.

Does McDonalds Have Eternals Happy Meal Toys?

10 McDonald's Eternals happy meal toys were on promotion for one month between October 27 and November 22, 2021 to promote the Marvel Studio's Eternals movie. During the promotion happy meal toys were given away in Eternals themed happy meal boxes. Some food items eg apple slices were also Eternals themed . The McDonald's app provided an extension for the toys with the tap function and special Marvel Eternals activities could be downloaded from the McDonald's website.

How Many Eternals McDonald's Toys Are There?

There are 10 Eternals McDonald's toys in the 2021 happy meal toy promotion and all are plastic and look good on display. Each figures stands on a blue base which can be be joined on to other Eternals toys. All the heroes from the Marvel Eternals movie are included in the set: Sersi, Kingo, Makkari, Ikarus, Phastos, Sprite, Druig, Gilgamesh, Ajak and Thena. See below for more about each toy in the set.

McDonalds Eternals Toys Happy Meal Box

Like most significant happy meal toy promotions McDonalds had a specially themed Marvel Eternals happy meal box which features the various heroes from the Marvel Studios Eternals movie. On one side of the box is a picture of a Sersi toy being scanned into the McDonalds app encouraging kids with the words "Try Me!". Above that is a picture of the various McDonalds Eternals toys which are named for identification purposes.

The 10 McDonald's Eternals Toys 2021 light up when exposed to an external light source. Included in this happy meal toy set are:

1. #1 Ikaris - Brown hair and beard. Blue uniform. Eyes glow when used with external light source. Arms move up and down together when button is pushed at rear of toy.


2. #2 Sersi - Black hair. Green outfit. Lights up. Right arm moves up and down on push of lever on her back. Left arm is poseable. Chest area lights up.


3. #3 Kingo - Black hair, purple uniform, yellow gloves. Both arms have a flapping action on push of button on his back. Chest lights up.


4. #4 Makkari - Black hair, red uniform. Up and down punching action on push of button on her back. Chest illuminates.


5. #5 Phastos - Black hair and beard. Purple and gray uniform. Holds small yellow shield / heat ray arm. Right arm moves side to side when activated on push of button on his back. Left arm has some articulation. Chest cavity gets lit up.


6. #6 Ajak - Blue and gold outfit. Wears a gold helmet. Both arms move up and down, palms open on push of back button. Spotlight effect on chest.


7. #7 Druig - Black uniform with red highlights. Brown hair. Eyes light up. Right arm is outstretched and moves side to side on push of button. Left arm has some articulation.


8. #8 Sprite - Red hair. Light green costume. Chest lights up. Both arms move side-to-side on press of back button.


9. #9 Gilgamesh Dark green costume with light yellow sleeves. Chest lights up. Punching fist action on button press.


10. #10 Thena - Blonde hair. Gold uniform. Carries a sword in each hand. Chest lights up. Wields swords on push of rear button.

McDonalds Eternals Activities and McDonald's App Game Play
During the limited promotion of Eternals happy meal toys McDonalds had Eternals themed coloring and activity sheets available to download free but these are unfortunately no longer available from the website.

The McDonald's app unlocks extra toy features when the Eternals toy is scanned including additional information about the character and light up abilities.

McDonald's Enternals Toys 2021 in Happy Meals Around the World

The Eternals McDonalds toys promotion was limited to North America, South America, Latin America and the Carribean. Canada did not get the McDonald's Eternals toys though due to there being no licensing arrangement with Disney.

Other participating countries seem to have gotten all 8 toys (8 juguetes / 8 brinquedos). In Spanish speaking countries happy meals are known as #CajitaFeliz and the Eternals toys promotion as Eternals de Marvel Studios. In Brazil happy meals are called McLanche Feliz and the toys are brinquedos.

The Luca McDonalds toys are part of a movie tie-in deal with Pixar for the popular animated movie Luca which is set on the Italian Riviera. There are 8 different character inspired Luca McDonalds toys to collect in this set.

As you would expect the Luca McDonalds toys have a swimming and water theme in keeping with the movie. Luca is a young sea monster who can assume human form when he steps out of the water. He and his friend Alberto experience all the wonders that that being on dry land can offer like gelato, summer sun and scooter rides on a Vespa but the fear of being discovered as a sea monster is always looming.

The 8 toys in the McDonalds Luca happy meal toy collection are plastic. One of the unique things about this set is the ability of some of the Luca McDonalds toys to change color when immersed in water. #3 Alberto Scorfano and #7 Luca Paguro are the two Luca toys that can change color.
